Emilee Luehring:
MS, OTR/L, CLT
Founder & Owner:
Emilee is an occupational therapist who was born and raised here in Devils Lake. She has 10 years of experience working in Devils Lake and the surrounding communities and has experience in a variety of settings including outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, acute care, and home health. Emilee enjoys working with all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics and is a certified lymphedema therapist (CLT). Emilee is married to Brent and they have four children, Beckhem, Jensen, Brevin and Livie.
Heidi Brown:
MS, CCC-SLP
Founder & Owner:
Heidi has been a speech language pathologist in Devils Lake and the surrounding area for 24 years. She has worked with all ages, pediatric to adults in schools, group home, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and outpatient settings. Her favorite thing about being a speech therapist has been connecting with a wide variety of patients. She is married to Gary and has one son, Reese. In her spare time she enjoys gardening and spending time on the lake
Jessica Anderson:
MS, OTR/L, CEAS
Founder & Owner:
Jessica Anderson is an occupational therapist who has worked in Devils Lake and surrounding communities for 20 years. She has experience in a variety of settings including outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, swing bed, and adult group home. Jessica enjoys working with pediatrics to geriatrics and has training in hand therapy, ergonomics, wound care/edema management. She is an ergonomic provider with North Dakota Workforce Safety and Insurance for the Ergonomic Initiative Grant Program. She has three children Oliver, Finley, and Neva. In her free time, Jessica enjoys skiing, gardening, reading, and attending her kids sporting events.

Mary Martinson:
PT, DPT
Mary grew up locally in Crary and has been working in Devils Lake for the last 2 years since graduating with her Doctor of Physical Therapy from UND. She especially enjoys treating patients with orthopedic conditions and back pain, but also provides skilled therapies in dry needling, pelvic floor, vertigo, and neurological diagnoses.
Mary lives in Devils Lake with her husband Kaden, and their son Theo. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and playing and watching sports.
Mykal Morstad:
COTA/L
Occupational Therapist Assistant
Mykal is a a certified occupational therapy assistant. She has been practicing OT for 30+ years in the Lake Region Area and north to the Langdon area. She currently works part-time for 583. She has worked in a variety of settings-outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, developmental disability facilities and school settings. Age ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics. She and her husband Glenn, have 4 children, Kaisa, Presley, Ordale and Kemi. The 3 oldest are working in their respective careers. Kemi is in 8th grade and keeps the family busy with activities. Mykal enjoys spending time with family, the lake and attending numerous sporting events!
Shanon Lene:
PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Shanon is a licensed physical therapist who enjoys working with all ages, but has a special place in her heart for the pediatric population. She graduated in 2020 with her DPT and has worked in nearly all therapy settings due to her love of traveling! She currently resides in South Dakota, but grew up in Walhalla, ND and is familiar with the Devils Lake area! Shanon is a Mom of 3 fur babies, enjoys the mountains, concerts, and anything that promotes personal growth, excitement, and joy! She is certified in functional dry needling (SPTE) and selective functional movement assessment (SFMA).

Leatha Vaagen:
PT, MPT
Living in Devils Lake since 1998, Leatha has been a physical therapist for 29 years, earning her Master of Physical Therapy degree through the University of North Dakota in 1995. She has experience in a wide variety of therapy settings including outpatient, inpatient, swing bed and skilled nursing facilities. Professional areas of interest include outpatient orthopedics for all ages. Leatha also has a particular interest and additional training with women’s health services, including pelvic pain syndromes, urinary incontinence, pregnancy and post-partum care. Leatha and her husband Jeff have four children, Jacob, Hannah, Isaac and Rachel. As a family she enjoys the outdoors through gardening, hunting with her family, hanging out with the kids and cheering on their activities! The family dog, Olive, gets lots of walks and play time too!
Erin Bommersbach
Speech Language Pathologist
As a part-time speech language pathologist at 583 Therapy, Erin Bommersbach finds inspiration and hope in helping kids of all ages communicate effectively. Erin, who has provided early intervention services in the Devils Lake area for 21 years, currently spends the majority of her time as the PreK speech therapist for students at Four Winds and Lake Region Special Education. “Spending my days with kids fills me up and keeps me young at heart,” says Erin, who notes that she tries to channel the gentle patience and positive energy of her idols Mr. Rogers and Miss Rachel in her daily work. Erin enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, and two teenage sons, Brady and Mark. In her spare time, she likes to read and watch the Minnesota Vikings.

Erica is a physical therapist assistant who has been working for 8 years in the Devils Lake area and surrounding communities. She grew up locally near Garske and has experience in different settings including outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, home health and swing bed. She will be working part time for 583. She is married to her husband Jace and has two kids Clint (3) and Marigold (1). In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her kids, gardening, scrapbooking, and bow hunting.
